Encinitas Country Day School

Encinitas Country Day School has been a community staple for over 32 years. Each year, the school invites preschoolers and their parents to a spectacular play day—a chance to visit their Manchester campus to tour the pre-K and Kindergarten programs while enjoying games, dance recitals, and other fun activities. To promote the event, ECDS wanted a visual language with vibrant color palettes and a set of animal characters to connect the tone of the seasons with each event. The color palettes and brand identity system work with the school’s existing brand standards and color palette; while expanding it to appeal to families with young children. The design system is modular, meaning the design and all its elements can be easily updated and adapted each year with new information, saving time and money, while keeping the warmth and charm.
