A brand is built on perceptions, and the collective thoughts and opinions of Hunter employees drove the identity system for internal communications. Expanding upon the brand identity, I created a look for Hunter’s HR department that was all about approachability—large chunky fonts, brightly branded colors, and a custom illustration style added warmth and personality. The look carried through all HR communications, including the annual benefits packet.
The results: Employees enjoyed reading the Hub, Hunter’s quarterly employee newsletter. They also read the benefits packet from cover to cover, and benefits sign-ups and program participation increased.
